Women Who Roll is designed to promote, encourage, and support all female grapplers through jiu jitsu. Although women participation in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and other grappling arts is increasing, the percent of women to men grapplers is still extremely low, and the number of female competitors is even lower. Our hope is to help grow female participation in the jiu jitsu community. We aim to promote positive change in the Jiu Jitsu community and inspire females to step on the mat and stay on the mat.
To help the women’s jiu jitsu community grow and prosper
To encourage more women to compete
To provide resources for new and experienced practitioners
To provide an open and safe forum for issues in the jiu jitsu community
